In the real world, the advertised data must be reduced to account for realistic conditions including non-darcy flow, multiphase flow, reduced proppant concentration, gel damage, cyclic stress, fines migration and temperature.

In other words, the idea of using a single parameter to select the optimal proppant is full of holes.
